Winter Mood | Signature Mocktail

The idea for the Winter Mood Signature Cocktail comes from a delicious cake that Boris's grandmother, Alda, used to prepare for her grandchildren during the winter, using chocolate, apples, and freshly picked walnuts from the trees in her vast garden. Boris thought it would be a good idea to replace the walnuts with sweet and bitter almonds to create a pleasant, bitter aftertaste that contrasts with the sweetness of the other ingredients.

The flavour profile of the combination of ginger, chocolate, sweet and bitter almond, and apple creates a very pleasant bitter aftertaste that contrasts with the sweetness of apple and chocolate. Ginger adds a touch of spiciness, all coming together to form an unforgettable blend of flavours — intense, balanced, yet not intrusive.
